Landry

Landry is almost 20 months old. I can't believe it. He is starting to talk alot more. He tries to copy everything we say and do. Landry loves to be outside alot. He also loves to climb on everything and seems to be a daredevil.

During the week, I am home with both boys while Troy is at work and it is very challenging and rewarding at the same time. Almost every morning, I walk them up to the park in our double stroller and let Landry play for awhile. This has helped so much because it allows me to get them out of the house and Landry loves to play at the park.

Landry loves to swing!!

And he loves to slide!!

Rangers fan!!

His hair had grown alot since I gave him a buzzcut......

...so Daddy decided we needed another buzzcut!!.. "Daddy you're squishing my ear!!"

The end result. Daddy did a great job!!

Brothers

It is hard to believe that Landry is a "big" brother. He still seems little to me. Here of some pictures of Landry and Mason together. I have found out that it is extremely difficult to get pictures with Landry and Mason together but I still try.

Landry admiring his sleeping baby brother.

And now, Landry is waking up his baby brother.

Landry gives Mason lots of kisses!!

Landry talking to Mason.

Landry loves to point to Mason's facial features and tell us what they are so we always hear.."eyes"..."nose"

Mason... One Month Old

One month has flown by and Mason is growing before our eyes. He is still sleeping alot, so there is not much to talk about. His greatest accomplishment so far is that he has been sleeping 6-7 straight hours at night. We were not expecting this to happen so early, but we are enjoying it. This is really great for mom and dad because we get to sleep too.

Mason was watching his big brother, Landry, play in the backyard. One day he will be playing with him.

Mason on Mother's Day. My first mothers day with two kids. It was a really great day!!

Mason after his bath. He looks like a boxer with those fists and the robe.

Relaxing in his robe. Look at those big feet!!

Mason is finally here!!

Mason Thomas Montgomery finally decided to make his appearance on April 12th. I was due on April 4th and we were scheduled to be induced on April 15th. I thought he would never come but finally around 3 am on April 12th I started feeling contractions. I had contractions all day but they were so irregular that we waited to go to the hospital. Finally, around 6 pm we decided that we should get ready to go the hospital. My sister, Mellissa, came to get Landry so he could spend the night at her house and then we left. We got admitted around 7:30 pm and found out that I was already 6-7 cm dialated. Good thing we decided to go when we did! Then, Mason was born at 11:23 pm that night. He surprised us coming in at 9 lbs!! We were not expecting that because Landry was 7 lbs 4oz. I guess they gain alot of weight at the end. He was also 21.75 inches long and had big hands and feet just like Landry did.

Mason in the nursery a little while after being born.

All of these pictures were taken by my sister Mellissa. She captured so many great pictures when Landry was born and I am so glad she was able to do the same for Mason. I would have never seen these without her because I was still in the recovery room.
He is still wondering what is going on.
Mason getting measured. He has some long, skinny feet.
While we were in the hospital, Landry hung out with Aunt Mellissa and Uncle Jason and his cousins. It looks like he had alot of fun. Here is Uncle Jason making him laugh at Morgan's tball game.
Cousins...Morgan, Landry, and Joseph.
Landry getting ready to come meet his little brother.
One of my favorite pictures...Landry meeting Mason for the first time.

Another favorite...a kiss from big brother.

Having Fun Outside

Landry loves to be outside or "ice" as he would call it. He associates his shoes, hat, and sunblock with going outside. So, every time we tell him to get one of those 3 things he gets really excited. It is always quite a fight to get him to come inside.

Landry trying out his new Crayola paint. Yes, those are golfballs in the yard in the background. Troy has a bucket of old golfballs on the porch and Landry loves to throw them into the yard.

This is messy!!

Daddy teaching Landry how to golf. Starting young.

He loves to wear his hat. For some reason, it is always tilted to the side like this.

Daddy had just turned on the mower so he had to show me his shocked face. He does this anytime he hears a loud or unusual noise.

Easter and Hair Cut

Time is flying by...Landry is now 18 months old. He has such a great personality and we love him so much. He is constantly making us laugh. He is talking alot more every day. We are waiting for his big brother to get here. I was due April 4th so it could be any day. I can't wait to see the expression on Landry's face when he gets to see "baby". I don't think he realizes what "baby" is but he loves to say baby and point to my belly. He also likes to kiss and rub my belly and say baby. He even touchs his belly and says baby ?!?

We had a great easter. Landry had fun hunting for easter eggs. We visited the easter bunny at Walgreens and he loved it. He was not scared at all. He went straight to him and sat on his lap. After the picture, Landry played peek-a-boo and danced with the Easter Bunny. He thought he was great.

He was ready for his first Easter Egg hunt.

Troy took him out so I could try to take pictures. There were so many people there.

Landry had so much fun picking up the candy.

He got alot of candy.

Later that day we went to another Egg Hunt with his cousins. Joseph took Landry through this little exercise course.

Morgan, Landry, and Joseph after the Egg Hunt. It was really windy that day. This is when I realized that Landry really needed a haircut. Yes..that is his hair blowing in the wind!!

Getting ready for the haircut.... I decided to surprise Daddy with a haircut for Landry. He had so much hair. The haircut did not turn out so great so I decided to give him a buzz cut. Daddy got home and he loved it. It was an accident but it turned out to be a good accident.

After the hair cut. Taking pictures with Aunt Mellissa.

The next Easter event was opening his present that Aunt Melanie sent him.

Showing off in his new outfit.

And eating his new fruit snacks.

On Easter Sunday, we went to my parents for one last Easter Egg Hunt.

More jellybeans please.

Joseph sneaking in some jellybeans.

How many eggs did Morgan get??

We had a great Easter. Happy Easter from the Montgomerys!!!
