First Thanksgiving

We had three days of Thanksgiving this year so we are a little worn out and you can bet that Landry is too. He met so many new people and saw so many new places. Our first trip was to Belton,Texas to have Thanksgiving with my family. We went to my Uncle's house where there were almost 60 people and everyone was excited to get to meet Landry. My uncle lives on the lake and has alot of fun stuff for the kids and the grown up kids to do. Troy had the most fun hitting golf balls into the lake.

Joseph and Troy have alot of fun hanging out. Joseph was busy all day playing pool, ping pong, and golf.

My sister, Melanie, and Landry.

My dad with Landry. I am sure he loved wearing that Texas Tech burpcloth since he is a Texas Longhorns fans.

My sister, Mellissa, took this picture. This will be the last time you see Landry giving the hook em horns sign :)

My sister, Mellissa, and Landry hanging out on the swing. Landry likes being outside.

My mom with Landry watching the Cowboys game.

Landry and I taking a break on the stairs.

Joseph taking a break before he got ready to play some more.

Landry was exhausted from all the excitement of Thanksgiving.

Our ride home...this picture may be deceiving because he definitely didn't sleep the whole way home. Let's just say that he is not one of those babies that can sleep alot in the car.

We had a fun and eventful Thanksgiving and now we have to rest up to get ready for Christmas.

First Playdate

This past Wednesday was Landry's first playdate with his new friend, Colson. My friend, Shawnda, brought Colson over to play. Landry is not much fun yet since he is not very mobile, but I am sure they will soon be able to play together. We can tell they are going to be great friends.

2 Months Old

I can't believe how fast the first two months went by. Landry is growing bigger every day. He smiles alot now and he is sleeping so much better at night. This past Saturday we made our longest car trip so far with Landry. We went to Mesquite to visit Troy's dad and the trip was about an hour. He did really good in the car.

He loves his blue hat......

...because it hides his bad hair day :)

Getting ready for the long car ride.

His cheeks are getting chubbier every day :)

He slept on the way home. It seems like all babies love to sleep in the car.

Napping again. I wish I could sleep anywhere and everywhere.

Playing With My Cousins

Landry loves to play with his cousins, Joseph and Morgan, and they love to play with him. Morgan always calls him "Her Baby Cousin". The way she says it is too cute. Joseph always talks about what all he is going to teach Landry. These are pictures from a few weekends ago.

This was Landry's first jump into the leaves. He was trying to convince Morgan that it would be fun to jump...and he did.

Sleepy Baby

Baby's are so cute when they sleep. I always wonder what Landry is thinking about when he is sleeping. Especially when he smiles in his sleep.

He doesn't sleep alot, so when he does I have to capture a quick picture and then try to cook dinner, or do some laundry or, if I am really lucky, I get to sleep!

As you can see, he is getting bigger. We were at the doctor yesterday and he now weighs 11 pounds 4 ounces.

Showing off his new hat made by his Great Aunt Nancy. He loves his new hat.

He also loves his warm blanket made by his Aunt Mellissa.

First Halloween

A couple of weeks ago Landry was invited to get his Halloween pictures made with his cousins. He had to have a costume for the picture so we decided he would be a dalmation.

Landry, Morgan, and Joseph all dressed up.

On Halloween night, Landry was too tired to get his costume on. Joseph and Morgan came over to trick or treat and he slept through it all.

Morgan was wishing that he would wake up to play.

Later that night he put on his other Halloween outfit.

Our Little Red Raider

Troy has been a Texas Tech fan forever so you can imagine the excitement at our house this weekend. As usual, Texas Tech had us on the edge of our seats til the end. I have watched enough Tech games with Troy to know that it is not over til the clock runs out. Luckily, Tech beat Texas in an amazing game. The winning touchdown was made with 1 second left. If you didn't see it, you missed a good one.

Landry had to get rested for the big game.

We had to get a picture of the Red Raider mascot "Raider Red". It plays the Tech fight song and Landry loves it.

This is what he thought about the first half. Little did he know, the second half would be much more exciting.

Troy and Landry after the game.

Landry wearing Raider Red's cape. It looks like he is already getting his guns up :) I am sure no one will believe me, but I did not put his hands like that. I laughed after I noticed that on the picture. What are the odds of him having his hands like that.
