Christmas 2009 - Snow Pictures

As usual, it has been a while since I have posted. Landry is doing great. He is learning new words every day. Some of his favorite words are Thank You, More, Please, Fish, Bath, and, of course, Puppy. He is developing such a personality.

I am finally starting to upload some Christmas pictures and I thought I would start with the snow pictures. It snowed on Christmas Eve, so on Christmas morning we decided to play in the snow after Landry opened up presents. He absolutely loved it.

The snow was so much fun. It made Christmas Day very special!!

Our Little Lion

Landry dressed up as a Lion for Halloween. He really enjoyed seeing all of the trick or treaters that came to our house.

He was staring at my parents Halloween decorations that made noises.

He even had a little tail.

This witch was scary to him at first because she cackled and moved back and forth. Then he decided he would dance with her as she moved. It was very funny.

The lion was tired after the trips to the grandparents houses so our attempt to get a picture in front of the pumpkin did not work.

Landry's First Birthday Party

We had Landry's first birthday party about a month ago. It was a great party. Landry had so much fun with all his friends and family.

My mom made him a special cake. I was a little nervous about the blue icing but it came off very easily. It looks like Ashton wanted to dig into the cake.

He was a little timid at first but after a little prodding he began to dig in.

Of course he needed some ice cream to go with his cake.

After the cake he went straight to the bathtub.

Then he got to open his presents. He got lots of new clothes and new toys. He was most interested in the tissue paper and bags.

Birthday Pictures

Better late than never. Landry's birthday has come and gone. He is getting so big and we are really starting to see his personality come through. His favorite thing to say right now is "Thank you" and he says it alot. His favorite game is to bring daddy a toy and then take it back and then he says "Thank you" and then he runs to mommy to do the same thing. He can do it over and over without getting tired. He is so much fun.

On Landry's birthday, Troy and I both were off of work so we could spend the day with him. We made breakfast in the morning. He had pancakes and eggs for the first time. We also went to the park so he could run around.


He was a little scared of the candle or maybe it was the singing of Happy Birthday that was scaring him. Right after I took this picture, he reached out and put the candle out with his hand. Oops!! He did not hurt himself at all but I was scared that he did.

Happy to be one!!
