3 Months Old

I wanted to post some more Christmas pictures today, but that will have to be postponed. Landry is 3 months old today. Time is flying by and he is getting bigger every day. He has already outgrown alot of clothes. In the past few weeks he has started rolling over from his stomach to his back alot more. It is also easier to make him smile and laugh now.
His newest thing is holding onto toys. He always tries to put them in his mouth and sometimes he is successful.

We love this little boy!!

Christmas at My Parents

We always do Christmas a little early at my parents because the week of Christmas is so busy. We all got together this past Sunday and had alot of fun.
Are all these presents for me?!?!? All the kids got lots of presents.
The mouse was supposed to make him smile but he cried instead.
You can tell Landry was tired. He fell asleep shortly after this picture and slept the whole time we were opening presents.
All the cousins together. Morgan loves to hold Landry. Even when he is crying.
The whole family. Landry was already asleep by the time we got to this picture.
Landry got alot of new clothes. We had to try on his new jacket. He loves it.

Christmas Eve

I can't believe that Christmas is tomorrow. Getting ready for Christmas with a newborn has been hard, but alot of fun too. These are just a few of many Christmas pictures we have taken.

He loves his Santa hat.

Landry is resting up and getting ready for all the Christmas activities.

Happy Birthday Joseph

It has become a tradition that we take my nephew, Joseph, out to do something fun for his birthday and then buy him a toy that he picks out. This year, Troy had the idea to have Joseph come over to play video games and order pizza. Joseph turned 8 on December 13th and we had our celebration on Friday night.
Of course they had to start off with Guitar Hero while Landry was sleeping. We don't have this game so I was pretty impressed at how good Troy was. Joseph was really good too. He was dancing and singing and playing the guitar.
Then, Landry woke up and Joseph got some bonding time with his cousin. He loves to hold him like this because he can pat his back.
He is a great big cousin. He told me that when he could drive he was going to take Landry to the movies and pay for it with his own money. How sweet.
Next, we were off to Target to pick out a toy. This was Landry's calmest trip to Target. He stayed in his car seat the whole time and that was a first for him. I guess he was trying to give Joseph time to pick out his toy. Joseph picked out walkie talkies and an Air Hog(some kind of plane that flies outside).
When we got home, the boys played on the walkie talkies. Then, we had to get a picture in front of the Christmas tree.
More video games!! The boys were having so much fun.
One last picture before Joseph had to go home.

Happy Belated 8th Birthday Joseph!!

Visit to Santa

We took Landry to the mall to see Santa today. It was alot of fun. He wasn't liking his stroller, so I was holding him in line doing the mommy dance. I guess all that bouncing was relaxing because he fell asleep right as we got to the front of the line. He didn't sleep long and he woke up in time to take his picture.
He was so excited to go see Santa. I told him to tell Santa that all he wants for Christmas is diapers and baby wipes and alot of sleep for mommy and daddy:)
He had just woken up in this picture.
Santa fell asleep reading to Landry.
He stayed awake for just enough time to take his picture and then he passed out. Daddy held him all the way to the car.
I guess he was tired.

Back to Work

I went back to work about a week ago and on the days that I am working, my sister, Mellissa is watching Landry. It has made going back to work easier. I miss Landry so much, but I know he is in good hands. I get pictures every day sent to me while I am work from Mellissa.
I had to get alot of hugs on my first day back at work.
After we got home, Landry was caught napping while reading the paper with daddy. Actually, they both might have been napping.
The first day I took Landry to Mellissa's, Joseph was up early. He knew we were coming and could not wait to see his cousin. He even let Landry lay on his bean bag while he got ready for school. Joseph wrote me a card to make sure that I had a good first day back at work. I have never met a more caring little boy.
Morgan got lots of kisses from her baby cousin throughout the day. She can't wait for him to be big enough to play.

--Here are some more random pictures that I have taken this past week--

I had to get a picture in his Santa Hat.
Riding in his car seat.
Everything goes to the mouth.

Playing on his lily pad.

2 Month Checkup

Today was Landry's 2 month checkup. He now weighs 12 pounds 8 ounces and is 24 1/2 inches long, so he has gained over 4 pounds and grown about 3 1/2 inches since he was born.

He was really good when we were waiting for the doctor. Here he is flexing his muscles.

He even gave me alot of smiles.

Then came two shots and after that he was not happy. He cried as loud as he could to let us know that he did not like it.

Luckily by the time I was ready to check out he wore himself out and was fast asleep. Then he slept the whole way home.

First Thanksgiving

We had three days of Thanksgiving this year so we are a little worn out and you can bet that Landry is too. He met so many new people and saw so many new places. Our first trip was to Belton,Texas to have Thanksgiving with my family. We went to my Uncle's house where there were almost 60 people and everyone was excited to get to meet Landry. My uncle lives on the lake and has alot of fun stuff for the kids and the grown up kids to do. Troy had the most fun hitting golf balls into the lake.

Joseph and Troy have alot of fun hanging out. Joseph was busy all day playing pool, ping pong, and golf.

My sister, Melanie, and Landry.

My dad with Landry. I am sure he loved wearing that Texas Tech burpcloth since he is a Texas Longhorns fans.

My sister, Mellissa, took this picture. This will be the last time you see Landry giving the hook em horns sign :)

My sister, Mellissa, and Landry hanging out on the swing. Landry likes being outside.

My mom with Landry watching the Cowboys game.

Landry and I taking a break on the stairs.

Joseph taking a break before he got ready to play some more.

Landry was exhausted from all the excitement of Thanksgiving.

Our ride home...this picture may be deceiving because he definitely didn't sleep the whole way home. Let's just say that he is not one of those babies that can sleep alot in the car.

We had a fun and eventful Thanksgiving and now we have to rest up to get ready for Christmas.

First Playdate

This past Wednesday was Landry's first playdate with his new friend, Colson. My friend, Shawnda, brought Colson over to play. Landry is not much fun yet since he is not very mobile, but I am sure they will soon be able to play together. We can tell they are going to be great friends.
