Waiting for Daddy

Troy went golfing this morning and once I knew he was almost home, Landry and I went on the porch to wait for him. I was trying to get pictures of his new teeth, but he was not wanting to show them to me.

Where is Daddy???
Hurry up Daddy it is nap time. (This is his typical look when he is tired. Thumb in mouth and twirling his hair. I think he got the hair twirling from my sisters.)
Daddy is here!!!
And now I am all smiles.
Now I will show Daddy my top two teeth.
And now I will show him all my teeth.

Landry gets so excited to see Troy. I love watching it. And I have now figured out when I can get the best smiling pictures of the little man.

The Real Birdman

I am behind on posting because I have been spending all the time I can with my baby and my husband. Landry is growing so fast and I don't want to miss anything. He now has one bottom tooth and two top teeth coming in. They are all about half way in and they haven't seemed to bother him. He is still sleeping great, which means that mommy and daddy are sleeping great.

If you watch basketball, you will understand this hairstyle....this is our little Bird Man. We are not rooting for the Birdman, but we like his hairstyle.

He loves his baths...

...and he loves to be outside.
Sleeping on the way to see Grandpa Jim and Grandma Donna.

Hanging out at Lowes.
Daddy and Landry were testing out Grandpa's pool and they decided it was a little too cold to go for a swim.
Landry wasn't quite sure what to think.

Summer is almost here so I am sure he will be coming back to swim at Grandpa's.

7 Months Old

It is hard to believe that Landry is 7 months old today. He is growing up way too fast. He loves to pull himself with anything that is the right height for him and he is now crawling on his hands and knees. He is very active during the day and is sleeping great at night which is great for Mom and Dad!!

Landry Update

I decided to post some pictures while Landry is taking a nap. It is nonstop action for him while he is awake so it doesn't give me much time to get stuff done. He is going anywhere and everywhere. We have been putting up roadblocks to stop him from going places he shouldn't, but now he knows how to go over the roadblocks. He recently started pulling himself up to a standing position. Sometimes, he gets so excited about it that he falls down. Also, his first tooth is coming in on the bottom.

This is the first time I caught him standing up in his crib. I guess we will be lowering his mattress soon because I wouldn't put it past him to try to escape from his crib.

He was so proud of himself.
Making his escape from the bouncy seat. He goes under it, over it, and all around it.
Hanging out on the porch.
He got a new toy to practice standing. He loves the piano and all the music.

My New Tricks

Landry is doing really great. He is learning new tricks every day. We love this little boy so much!!

One of his tricks is to climb out of his bouncy seat and sit beside it and bounce it with his hands. His bouncy seat is now his jungle gym. You can see he loves it.

He loves being outside. Today was such a nice day, so we really enjoyed our day and spent alot of time outside.

Sticking the tongue out. Silly boy.

Another one of his new favorite tricks is pulling himself up on his knees.

His most recent trick is moving from his knees to sitting up. He learned this on Easter and now he does it all the time.

6 Months Old

I can't believe Landry is halfway to being a 1 year old. Time flies when you are having fun. Yesterday I stayed home from work to take Landry to his 6 month appointment. He decided that he was going to make it hard for the doctor to stick anything in his ear, nose, or mouth. He even hit the doctor in the face as he flailed his arms. After that I had to hold his arms down the whole time. Let's just say it was an adventure.

His 6 month stats are : Weight - 17 lbs 7 oz(50%)...Height - 27 1/2 inches(75-90%)...Head Circ - 17 1/2 inches(50-75%)

He loves playing with paper and you can see what happens once he gets ahold of it.

A few days ago he went through a phase where all he wanted to do was stick out his tongue. It was pretty funny, but it was hard to feed him with a spoon that night.
He is sitting up really good now and he is still drooling alot, but no teeth yet.

Movin' and Scootin'

Every since he learned to roll over, Landry has loved the floor. Now he can get just about anywhere he wants to go and he loves it even more. Of course his favorite places are the places he shouldn't go. Here, he is scooting to one of his favorite toys.

Landry...Loving the Weather

Saturday, March 21, 2009

Working full time, raising a baby, cooking and cleaning, and trying to continue to update our blog...all of these things have kept me very busy and so I decided if I was going to slack on one thing, it would have to be the blog. Sorry!

Landry is getting bigger everyday and we are enjoying every minute with him. He likes to be on the floor and we have to watch him very closely because he can roll and scoot himself almost anywhere. When he sees something he wants, be it a toy or a computer cord, it is not long before he gets to it. You can tell he wants to crawl, but he hasn't yet figured out how to do it. No teeth yet, but I am sure it won't be long. We have been enjoying the nice weather and spending more time outside. And now the important stuff. Pictures!!

He loves taking walks in his stroller.
And he also loves hanging out on the porch.

We have to get some cute pictures in his new hat.
