Fun with Water

June 2011

My boys went to Bedford Splash for the first time in June. Mason loved walking through the water and letting it spray on him

Landry stayed on the slides most of the time, but also came and played with his brother.

They also enjoyed their spray pool.

Brother Fun

June 2011

My boys love to play together. Sometimes they are too rough for my liking, but I know they are having fun.  Even though Mason is smaller (for now), he can take Landry down.  In June, he went through a phase where he would just walk up to Landry and pull him down and laugh.  Sometimes Landry would laugh and other times he would come tell me that Mason hurt him.  Landry would also encourage it by saying, "Mason come tackle me!" We usually hear lots of laughing when they are playing.  It is so fun to watch them learning to play together and having fun.

Mason about to "tackle" Landry.

Some more wrestling.

Landry also likes to teach Mason how to do things, like dunking a basketball.  Landry gets more excited than Mason when Mason does something new.

Another thing Mason loved to do in June was to stand on his head like this and look between his legs.  Too funny!

Fun, Fun, Fun!

June 2011

June was a fun month because it was hot, but not too hot to play outside and take lots of walks.

Landry and Mason had their friends Colson and Parker over to play.  These boys have fun playing together.

Landry and Colson swinging.

Landry being silly with his sunglasses.

Making brother laugh.

Cheese!

Landry has moved up to the big boy swing, but this day decided he needed to swing like Mason.

Father's Day 2011

June 19, 2011
For Father's Day, we started out by going to church where Landry was supposed to sing with his VBS friends in front of church.  He was one of the youngest and wanted to sit with us instead.

Daddy with his two boys.

After naptime, we got ready for an early dinner. We were taking Daddy out to eat.

On their best behavior for daddy :)

One of our gifts before it was framed.  I traced all of our hands and glued them on top of eachother.

The boys loved making their footprints for Daddy.

Brought tears to Daddy's eyes. This poem is so true.

PandaMania

June 10, 2011

This was Landry's first year to attend Vacation Bible School at our church. The theme was PandaMania.  He had lots of fun, but each day he did not want us to leave when we were dropping him off. Every day we would come pick him up and he would not want to leave, so we knew he was having fun.  My favorite part was the music.  He learned lots of songs and I love hearing him sing.

Landry with his class and the Panda.

Strike a pose! He was such a cute panda.

He was shy, but I caught him dancing on stage a few times.  The last night they did a slideshow for the parents. I stayed at the back and watched Landry dancing all around. It is fun to watch when they don't know you are watching.

Hubik Family Reunion

June 10, 2011

This year the Hubik Family Reunion was by Canyon Lake, somewhat close to Austin, Texas.  I did not take a lot of pictures, because I was entertaining my boys and they were a handful that weekend.  Unfortunately, the pool was still under construction and the lake had no shore, just a big drop off, so my boys needed to be entertained :)  There were lots of deer to watch and feed. Landry was scared of them at first, but then he got brave.

Then he got closer. My sister, Mellissa, got down there with Landry and had him laughing up a storm.

Mason with Joseph by the lake. I love this picture!

Me with my little man.

I love how the deer were right by our cabins. The only problem was that they pooped everywhere. Gross!!
Mason was bored until his cousin started entertaining him with bubbles.

Daddy and Landry sleeping.

Our road trip home was entertaining. I think I have a Mr. Diva on my hands wearing my sunglasses.

I had to add these pictures(taken by my sister) of Landry feeding the deer. Too much fun!

Brothers

I am finally on to June. I plan on printing my blog to use as my boy's baby books, so I am trying to be thorough, but I also want to catch up.

June 5, 2011

I love this sequence of pictures, because it shows just how much these boys love each other.  Don't get me wrong, they do fight over toys and make each other mad ALOT, but at the end of the day they love eachother and have lots of fun together.  It is so sweet to see the relationship they are developing with each other.
