5 Months Old

Landry is officially 5 months old. Time flies when you are having fun. One of his newest things to try is to eat rice cereal from a spoon. Oddly enough, he seems to like it alot. If you pause too long between bites, he reaches out to grab the spoon. I am pretty sure it doesn't taste that good, but I think that he would eat anything. He is also trying to sit up on his own. He puts his hands in front of him to support himself. He weighs about 17 pounds now and he is growing up too fast for me.

This is his first time in his high chair getting ready to eat with a spoon for the first time.

Daddy fed his some....
And Mommy fed him some.
I think he was finally full. A little messy, but not too bad for his first time.
He smiles and laughs alot, but it is hard to catch it on camera.
Landry on his first Valentine's Day laying on his new puppy from Mommy and Daddy. Sorry Landry, it's not a real puppy. I am sure you will be asking for one soon.

He loves his feet. They can go in his mouth now. His cousin, Morgan, thinks it is gross :)

Another smile. He loves his comb over. Troy is ready to cut that hair. He said that he was too young to already have a comb over.
This is now his pull up bar. Sometimes he actually puts both hands up and pulls himself up off the seat.
As I said...he loves those feet.

Mr. Hot Stuff!! Cute onesie from Aunt Melanie.

One of his first attempts to sit up.

A few days later he was already getting better.

Family Picture

These are a few of the pictures that my sister, Mellissa, took at the park a few weekends ago. We got so many good pictures, but these are a few of the favorites. Enjoy!

This is one of the pictures that was taken at Mellissa's when I was at work. One of the many that I love. We are so lucky to have a photographer in the family. Landry loves to show off his double chin :)

Rolling Over

Landry has been rolling over from his stomach to his back for over a month now, but was never really been that interested in rolling over from his back to his stomach...that was until a week ago. He started trying about a week ago, but would get stuck. It took him about 2 days to figure it out and on Superbowl Sunday, Feb 1, he finally did it. This video is about the 3rd or 4th time for him to do it and of course that is ESPN in the background. It took him awhile to figure out how to pull his arm out after he rolls over, but now he does it much easier. It is so funny, because now that he knows how to do it, he rolls over and over and over. We have to watch him very carefully. He is quite mobile for a 4 month old. I am still trying to figure out if that is good or bad??

Morgan holding Landry on Superbowl Sunday. Morgan told me that Landry is her hero and her best friend :)

Joseph holding Landry.

Landry laying on my baby quilt. My Grandma had this made for me when I was a baby and now Landry gets to enjoy it.
This is what I came home to after my volleyball game last week. I guess Daddy wore Landry out. Yes...I have not played in about a year, so I was hurting for a few days, but it was alot of fun. I can't wait to do it again next week.

Landry's new toy from my mom's coworker, Don. As you can see, he loves it. Thank you Don.
His feet can barely touch the ground, so he likes us to roll him around on tile.

This is his "I'm Pooped" look. He was resting up before his pictures today. My sister took our family pictures today. I can't wait to see them.

4 Months Old

Yesterday was Landry's 4 Month Checkup. He weighs 15 pounds and is 25 1/4 inches long. He is doing great and we are so happy to have a healthy baby boy. He is getting alot more vocal and it is so funny to hear him coo and giggle.

He slept in the waiting room before our appointment.
Waiting for the doctor...
And waiting some more. He was having fun...little did he know he was getting shots today.

Here are some pictures from the past few weeks.

His hat is a little too big still, but it is too cute.

He likes to hang out in the bumbo while mommy gets ready for work. He likes watching me brush my teeth and blow dry my hair. I think he likes the sound of the hairdryer.
He found a new bath time friend.

Lastly, I had to put this little video of him from when we were waiting for the nurse to come back to give him his shots yesterday. I am thinking he is a ventriloquist because there are times he is making noises without moving his lips. I hope you find it as funny as I did.

Morgan's Birthday Party

My niece, Morgan turned 4 years old last week. Her birthday party was last Saturday and we had so much fun. Morgan partied like a ROCKSTAR....I think that is her new favorite word. My favorite part was watching Morgan play Wii bowling.

Morgan was ready to open her gifts. She got alot of cool stuff.

Joseph and Landry.

Joseph giving Landry a kiss on the head...how sweet.
Morgan already wanted to play with her new Barbie accessories. She loves Barbies.

Now, we all had to pose with the birthday girl. Happy Birthday Morgan.

Thank You Aunt Mellissa

These are all pictures that were taken by my sister, Mellissa. It is so nice to have someone in the family that can take great pictures. Thank you Aunt Mellissa.

This first picture was in his room when he was only a few weeks old. The rest of the pictures have been taken at Mellissa's during the day, while she babysits. Almost every day I get new pictures emailed to me, which I love. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I do!!

I can only bet that Morgan is making him smile.

Yes, that is drool :)

Look at Me

Landry is holding his head up really well and he loves being on his tummy.

He is still learning how to sit in his bumbo seat. He sits a little crooked.
Mom with Landry in his camo outfit. Too cute. We love the little hat.
