Halloween 2010

Better late than never to post my Halloween pictures. Halloween was lots of fun this year. It was Mason's first Halloween and Landrys first time to trick or treat. Landry had so much fun trick or treating with his cousins. They taught him what to do and as soon as he caught on he was unstoppable. We trick or treated in my parent's neighborhood. At the first house, Landry tried to walk in as soon as they opened the door. I was not surprised!! Some of the neighbors had the kids take the candy out of the bowl themselves...Landry would take one, then two, then three, then four, then we would have to tell him that was enough. It was a great night.

The cutest monkey around!

Morgan helping her cousin to the door. Morgan and Joseph were so patient with Landry. They had to go a little slower because he was easily distracted but they did not complain at all.

Landry is checking to see if someone was coming.

A few days before Halloween we did a test run in Grapevine at Halloween on Main Street. Landry and his cousins trick or treated down Main Street and enjoyed all the activities.

Mason - 7 months

Sometimes I wish I could stop time because my babies are growing up too quick. Mason turned 7 months old on November 12. Where has the time gone?!?

Here are five new things at 7 months:

1. He got his second tooth, so at 7 months he has his bottom two teeth.
2. He ate avocado for the first time. This was his first thing to try outside of different cereals. He seemed to love it and has eaten it alot since.
3. He started to scoot forward/army crawl. He can get pretty much anywhere so now we have to watch him more carefully.
4. He puts anything and everything in his mouth. I think alot has to do with all his new teeth coming through.
5. He stopped spitting up so much!!! This is my favorite thing because it has made our life alot easier. Now, he is gaining weight like normal. I think the spitting up bothered us alot more than it bothered him. I am doing alot less laundry now :)

Mason is in love with Landry and smiles when he comes near. It is the sweetest thing to watch. We love our boys so much and I can only hope that they grow up to be best friends!!

This is a Mason face. I catch alot of pictures like this.
Avocado!! He eventually got more in his mouth than on his face.
He is sitting up very well now.
You can see his bottom two teeth here.
He loves to scoot around!

Mason 6 Months Old

As always I am behind with my postings. Mason is almost 7 months old, but these are some of his pictures from when he was 6 months old.

Weight: 16 lbs, 7 oz
Height: 28.75 inches

At 6 months old, Mason was going through a major spit up stage. We would go through at least 10 burp cloths, 4 changes of clothes, and 10 bibs a day. Every time he ate he would spit up 3-4 times and not just a little at a time. I was doing laundry like crazy. He was still a very happy baby and it did not affect his sleep. We were a little concerned and so was the doctor because his weight did not go up that much. Now that he is almost 7 months, it seems we have passed that stage. He still spits up but not nearly as much and he seems to be getting his chunky back on :)

Everything else is going great with him. He has started solids and is starting to sit up very well by himself. He laughs at his brother all the time and seems to enjoy watching him do anything and everything. He is sleeping about 12 hours a night and naps 2 to 3 times a day. He is a great baby and we love him so much!!

Mason at the doctor.

He still enjoys to suck on his feet.

Landry hanging out in Mason's crib. It seems so long ago that Landry slept in there, but it was really only a few months ago.

We decided to try some rice cereal once he turned 6 months. He seemed to like it and he has had alot since.

Yummy!!

He even licked his fingers clean.

After a few days he could already hold the spoon by himself.

We watched alot of baseball this month. It was so much fun to see Landry get into the game. Mason just watched and laughed at his brother.

At 6 months, Mason was starting to sit up. He is doing much better now.

Choo Choo Landry's Two

I am officially the mother of a 2 year old. Landry turned 2 on September 29!! He has grown so much and learned so much in the past year. He is a parrot and copies alot of things that he hears and sees. He has the typical two year old fits which are lots of fun ;) He loves to eat. Some of his current favorites are applesauce, yogurt, and oatmeal, but his list of favorites is pretty long. We like to call him Mr. Serious because he has a serious face most of the times, especially when we ask him to smile.

Height: 35 inches (50-75%)

Weight: 30.4 pounds (75%)

Landry had a train themed birthday party with family and friends. He really enjoyed it!!

Landry before the party. He was ready to have some fun.

Lots of trains everywhere. I wish I could take credit for all the decorations but most were made by my sister, Mellissa.

Landry in his party shirt made by Aunt Lissa. Yes, this is the serious face. I promise he was having fun.

Party favors for all the kiddos.

The train cake made by Aunt Lissa. I did make the icing but I did not decorate the cake. Alot of hard work went into the decorating.

Yummy food.

Mom and Dad with the birthday boy

Playing football in the bakyard. The kids were doing alot of running around outside.

Opening presents. Landry was not really into opening the presents.

Mason had lots of fun and even took a good nap during the party.

Landry and his cousin, Joseph.

Parker, Colson, Falin, Landry, and Mason. Lots of boys!! Me and 2 of my closest girlfriends have a total of 5 sons. These boys are going to be such great friends.

He loves to clap.

Mason - 5 Months Old

I am a little late on this post but I still wanted to write a little and post some pictures of Mason from when he was 5 months old.

At 5 months, Mason weighed 17 pounds which is the same as what Landry weighed at 5 months. Mason seems bigger, but I think it is because he is longer. He had been rolling from stomach to back alot and then at around 4 1/2 mths he started rolling from back to stomach. That was his big accomplishment for the month.

Landry is starting to interact with Mason so much more. He loves to sit in front of Mason and make him laugh. He loves to kiss him, usually on the hand or his head. He loves to "play catch" with him (even though Mason does not throw the ball back). He loves to run circles around Mason when Mason is laying on the floor (sometimes too close for Mommy's comfort). He loves to wipe off Mason's drool with a burp cloth. He is a great big brother and a helper for Mommy and Daddy.

Mason is now sleeping in his crib (Landry's old crib). He has been in there since he was about 4 1/2 months old. We started as soon as Landry was fully transitioned to his toddler bed. I was really sad for him to leave our room because I enjoyed being able to watch him sleep :) He was sleeping so good in our room ( about 8-10 hours a night) and he is still doing about the same in his crib. If he wakes up, it is because he has rolled over to his back and that always wakes him up. We just have to roll him back over and he goes back to sleep. He still LOVES to sleep and we LOVE it!!

Brothers!! They are still waiting on a Cowboys win.
Landry loves to get in the crib with Mason when he is waking up.
Mason found his feet!! His big brother thinks this is pretty funny.

Landry also thinks that his old crib is now a trampoline.

Playing footsie.
I love to watch Mason explore Landry. When I am holding both of them, Mason will rub Landry hair and face. That is one of my favorite things right now.

Playing Catch

This is how Landry plays catch with Mason. He loves to entertain his baby brother!!

Mason 4 Months Old

Weight - 16 lbs (72%)
Height - 27.5 inches (99%)

Mason is now 4 months old. He checked out great at the doctor. No worries or concerns. Yay! The doctor said he looked happy and healthy. Mommy and Daddy are great too because they are getting lots of sleep at night. Mason is still sleeping anywhere from 8-10 hours straight at night and takes lots of naps. He LOVES to sleep!! Landry was not a fan of sleeping when he was Mason's age, but he sleeps good now. We are hoping that Mason continues to sleep good.

Hanging out waiting for the doctor
Brothers....they would not smile for the camera!! They gave me the serious look.

Mason still has blue eyes
