Landry Update
I decided to post some pictures while Landry is taking a nap. It is nonstop action for him while he is awake so it doesn't give me much time to get stuff done. He is going anywhere and everywhere. We have been putting up roadblocks to stop him from going places he shouldn't, but now he knows how to go over the roadblocks. He recently started pulling himself up to a standing position. Sometimes, he gets so excited about it that he falls down. Also, his first tooth is coming in on the bottom.
This is the first time I caught him standing up in his crib. I guess we will be lowering his mattress soon because I wouldn't put it past him to try to escape from his crib.

He was so proud of himself.
Making his escape from the bouncy seat. He goes under it, over it, and all around it.
Hanging out on the porch.
He got a new toy to practice standing. He loves the piano and all the music.

My New Tricks
Landry is doing really great. He is learning new tricks every day. We love this little boy so much!!
One of his tricks is to climb out of his bouncy seat and sit beside it and bounce it with his hands. His bouncy seat is now his jungle gym. You can see he loves it.
He loves being outside. Today was such a nice day, so we really enjoyed our day and spent alot of time outside.
Sticking the tongue out. Silly boy.

Another one of his new favorite tricks is pulling himself up on his knees.

His most recent trick is moving from his knees to sitting up. He learned this on Easter and now he does it all the time.

6 Months Old
I can't believe Landry is halfway to being a 1 year old. Time flies when you are having fun. Yesterday I stayed home from work to take Landry to his 6 month appointment. He decided that he was going to make it hard for the doctor to stick anything in his ear, nose, or mouth. He even hit the doctor in the face as he flailed his arms. After that I had to hold his arms down the whole time. Let's just say it was an adventure.
His 6 month stats are : Weight - 17 lbs 7 oz(50%)...Height - 27 1/2 inches(75-90%)...Head Circ - 17 1/2 inches(50-75%)

He loves playing with paper and you can see what happens once he gets ahold of it.
A few days ago he went through a phase where all he wanted to do was stick out his tongue. It was pretty funny, but it was hard to feed him with a spoon that night.
He is sitting up really good now and he is still drooling alot, but no teeth yet.

Movin' and Scootin'
Every since he learned to roll over, Landry has loved the floor. Now he can get just about anywhere he wants to go and he loves it even more. Of course his favorite places are the places he shouldn't go. Here, he is scooting to one of his favorite toys.

Working full time, raising a baby, cooking and cleaning, and trying to continue to update our blog...all of these things have kept me very busy and so I decided if I was going to slack on one thing, it would have to be the blog. Sorry!
Landry is getting bigger everyday and we are enjoying every minute with him. He likes to be on the floor and we have to watch him very closely because he can roll and scoot himself almost anywhere. When he sees something he wants, be it a toy or a computer cord, it is not long before he gets to it. You can tell he wants to crawl, but he hasn't yet figured out how to do it. No teeth yet, but I am sure it won't be long. We have been enjoying the nice weather and spending more time outside. And now the important stuff. Pictures!!

He loves taking walks in his stroller.
And he also loves hanging out on the porch.

We have to get some cute pictures in his new hat.

5 Months Old
Landry is officially 5 months old. Time flies when you are having fun. One of his newest things to try is to eat rice cereal from a spoon. Oddly enough, he seems to like it alot. If you pause too long between bites, he reaches out to grab the spoon. I am pretty sure it doesn't taste that good, but I think that he would eat anything. He is also trying to sit up on his own. He puts his hands in front of him to support himself. He weighs about 17 pounds now and he is growing up too fast for me.

This is his first time in his high chair getting ready to eat with a spoon for the first time.
Daddy fed his some....
And Mommy fed him some.
I think he was finally full. A little messy, but not too bad for his first time.
He smiles and laughs alot, but it is hard to catch it on camera.
Landry on his first Valentine's Day laying on his new puppy from Mommy and Daddy. Sorry Landry, it's not a real puppy. I am sure you will be asking for one soon.

He loves his feet. They can go in his mouth now. His cousin, Morgan, thinks it is gross :)
Another smile. He loves his comb over. Troy is ready to cut that hair. He said that he was too young to already have a comb over.
This is now his pull up bar. Sometimes he actually puts both hands up and pulls himself up off the seat.
As I said...he loves those feet.
Mr. Hot Stuff!! Cute onesie from Aunt Melanie.
One of his first attempts to sit up.
A few days later he was already getting better.

Family Picture
These are a few of the pictures that my sister, Mellissa, took at the park a few weekends ago. We got so many good pictures, but these are a few of the favorites. Enjoy!

This is one of the pictures that was taken at Mellissa's when I was at work. One of the many that I love. We are so lucky to have a photographer in the family. Landry loves to show off his double chin :)

Rolling Over
Landry has been rolling over from his stomach to his back for over a month now, but was never really been that interested in rolling over from his back to his stomach...that was until a week ago. He started trying about a week ago, but would get stuck. It took him about 2 days to figure it out and on Superbowl Sunday, Feb 1, he finally did it. This video is about the 3rd or 4th time for him to do it and of course that is ESPN in the background. It took him awhile to figure out how to pull his arm out after he rolls over, but now he does it much easier. It is so funny, because now that he knows how to do it, he rolls over and over and over. We have to watch him very carefully. He is quite mobile for a 4 month old. I am still trying to figure out if that is good or bad??
Morgan holding Landry on Superbowl Sunday. Morgan told me that Landry is her hero and her best friend :)

Joseph holding Landry.
Landry laying on my baby quilt. My Grandma had this made for me when I was a baby and now Landry gets to enjoy it.
This is what I came home to after my volleyball game last week. I guess Daddy wore Landry out. Yes...I have not played in about a year, so I was hurting for a few days, but it was alot of fun. I can't wait to do it again next week.

Landry's new toy from my mom's coworker, Don. As you can see, he loves it. Thank you Don.
His feet can barely touch the ground, so he likes us to roll him around on tile.

This is his "I'm Pooped" look. He was resting up before his pictures today. My sister took our family pictures today. I can't wait to see them.
